What Should A Victim Do If Approached With A Settlement By An Insurance Company?

I get asked this question weekly, and it’s the same answer every time: say, “No thank you.” The only reason that the insurance company is trying to offer you some money is so that they can get your signature on a release of all claims, and that will forever stop you from being able to make any future medical or pain suffering claim. So my advice is to say, “No thanks”.
