What I tell most of my clients is that they should never settle their injury case unless until they’re feeling better and fully recovered and finished treating with the doctors. In a brain injury case, this may take a year or two. But once they finish treating, we gather up the medical records and bills and we try to settle their case. That process may take a month or two. If the insurance company low balls them, then that process may take a year or two.
