Are Witnesses Important In California Dog Bite Cases?

Yes. I’ve handled several cases where the owners of the dog that bit my clients alleged that somehow my clients provoked the dog and caused the attack. In all of those cases, we were able to find witnesses at the park or on the street who saw the dog attack my clients. In those cases, the witnesses were very, very important to prove liability on the dog owner.

Ultimately, those cases settled or went to trial and my clients were fully compensated.
