Anyone who rides bicycle knows that if they’re hit by a car, the driver of that car is likely to get out of the car and blame them for causing the accident and their own injuries. In that case, I think the most important thing that a motorcyclist should do is call the police and ask that they write a full police report. That way the police officer gathers all the physical evidence at the scene and makes a liability determination as to who’s at fault.
